Once upon a time...
There were two brothers named Isaiah and Caden. Caden lived in Baton Rouge with his daddy, mommy, little sister Lane and his dog Dudi-pie. Isaiah lived far FAR away in a country called China. Caden had never been to China before.

Caden asked his mommy to show him where China was. His mommy pulled out a map and showed him that it was far FAR away on the other side of the world! It would take a long long loooong time to get there.

Mommy, why does my brother live in China? Will I ever see him? Does he like pizza and hot dogs? Do I have to fly in an airplane to get to China? What is Isaiah's favorite color?
Caden had lots of questions.

Caden's mommy sat him down and told him the story of Isaiah.
Caden...your Daddy and I love you and Lane very much. God has placed a desire in our hearts to grow our family and for us to bring you a little brother from China. Your brother, Isaiah, is very special to us. God knew long ago Isaiah would be a part of our family.

Caden was still confused, but mommy I don't understand...if Isaiah is my brother why didn't he come from your tummy?

Mommy smiled and said, yes all babies come from a mommy's tummy. Caden, there are children all over the world who don’t have someone they can call mommy and daddy. Babies need a lot of love, food and care. Sometimes their tummy mommy can’t provide enough food and care, so they ask God to choose people like your Daddy and I to be their mommy and daddy. We will love Isaiah just like we love you and your sister!

Caden just knew he was going to be the best big brother in the world! He was really excited and his heart began to fill up with love for Isaiah just like it had for his sister.
Caden scream with joy...
I AM SO EXCITED because God chose my family to love my new brother Isaiah! YAY!!!

"Caden's journey to finding Isaiah"
An adoption story so the young bio children can embrace the journey! I struggled so hard to find any story books or movies explaining to the children in the home about the adoption taking place. I wanted my son to be able to be excited. After making this book, he was so excited and wanted to have his teacher at school read it to the class! They all now are part of the journey and learning about the beauty of adoption! They need more books for children in the home and bio kids so they can grasp the joy and beauty of God's calling into adoption!
