Shariif and his father are living in Freiburg. They make regular visits to europa-park and live a normal life.

But things haven't always been like this for Shariif and his family. They used to live in Syria, in the city of Aleppo.

Jet fighters destroyed their whole city and their neighborhood.

The houses all fell down, so they were forced to move away from the war.

Shariif and his family were very sad because they lost everything they had and they couldn't find their Mom in the burning houses.

They Moved to a tent camp near the border to Turkey where they meet a friendly aid worker.

The next day Shariif met a very friendly person in the tent next to them. Shariif was very happy that he met a new friend.

After a few days they decided to go to the turkish border, where they were let in to Turkey.

They went to a small town in Turkey and decided that they want to go to Germany, because living conditions are better there
