One day, when a little girl with beautiful blonde locks was passing through the neighborhood. She smelled this wonderful aroma wafting from the inside of one of the houses. She became hungry and curious and made her way towards the first door, the house made of straw, and she tried to open it.

However, to her surprise, the house collapsed as soon as she knocked on the door. Terrified she ran to the house made of sticks next door. When she was pulling on the door to try and get inside the house of sticks, it all toppled over!

Panicking that the owners of the houses would come home soon she ran to the third house that was made of bricks. When she pulled on this door the house did not collapse, it flung open! So she quickly entered the home.

To her surprise there was no one home, but there were three bowls of porridge sitting on the kitchen table. After such a crazy afternoon she decided to sit down and eat one of the bowls of porridge since there was no one home to stop her.

The porridge was so hot it burnt her mouth! So, she decided to try some of the porridge in the next bowl but this bowl was way too cold. She then moved on to the third bowl. This one was just right. It was delicious!

So then, she walked into the living room where she saw three chairs. Goldilocks sat in the first chair to rest her feet.
"This chair is too big!" she exclaimed.
So she sat in the second chair.
"This chair is too big, too!" she whined.
So she tried the last and smallest chair.
"Ahhh, this chair is just right," she sighed. But just as she settled down into the chair to rest, it broke into pieces!

Goldilocks was very tired by this time, so she went upstairs to the bedroom. She lay down in the first bed, but it was too hard. Then she lay in the second bed, but it was too soft. Then she lay down in the third bed and it was just right. Goldilocks fell asleep.
