Once there lived a boy named Lotholate.
Lotholate lived all alone in his tiny house in a
small town called Prokarya. He was a simple man
who preferred to stay indoors and watch
television.

One day he got a hankering to leave his simple
town and travel to Eukarya, the big city.
Eukarya was different from Prokarya in many
ways. Prokarya consisted only of a DNA Hall
where every person's DNA records are kept and
the meat locker. The meat locker is where the
town's protein supply is kept. If they didn't
have the meat locker everyone would starve.
The town also keeps its DNA stored so they will
have it when it's time for a new baby to come
along.

Eukarya is very different. It is a magical city
that is protected by wards. To gain access into
the city you must ask permission from the
guards.
The guards granted Lotholate entrance into the
magical city. He couldn't wait to see what was
on the inside of those huge walls...

Eukarya was similar to his home Prokarya because
there was a jelly-like liquid that encased the whole
city so the buildings wouldn't float away.
One of the first things he saw when he went into the
city was a huge building surrounded by a greenish
fog. As he walked up to the fog a sign read: Do not
touch the fog envelope! Inside this building is
Nucleus, the CEO of Eukarya. If you wish to visit him
you are out of luck. He is busy telling everybody what
to do and protecting the city's DNA. Have a nice day.

Lotholate decided he would leave the fog encased
building alone. He bought a tram ticket and went to
The Mito Factory. He joined the 12:45 tour of the
Mito Factory. He learned from the fairy tour guide
that The Mito factory specializes in making usable
energy. They turn raw energy into something that
the rest of the city can use.

After the tour of the factory, Lotholate decided to go
for lunch. He scanned the nearby restaurants and
choose De Ribosome à la protéine. De Ribosome à
la protéine is a french cafe that only serves foods
high in protein. The chefs in the back slave away all
day to turn amino acids into proteins. Lotholate
picked up a menu and ordered a steak and a protein
milk shake.

When Lotholate was finished with his lunch, he
decided that he would go to the park. He walked out
of the cafe and saw a big trucked parked in the front.
The side read: Golgi Shipping United. Lotholate
became curious as to what they shipped so he asked a
nearby employee.
"What does GSU specialize in shipping and why are
they here at the cafe?" Lotholate asked.
"They take the proteins that we make and ship
them to other parts of the city." replied the employee.

Lotholate was intrigued by the protein truck, but did
not follow it. He went to the park instead.
At the park he saw that on top of each tree was a
green solar panel. From the panel ran a tube that
stuck in the ground. For the plants to grow they
have to have chloroplasts collect energy from the
sun and turn it into food for them. The panels do
this for the plants so they can grow. (On Earth these
plants would do photosynthesis themselves, but in
Eukarya they can't)
