Emma is so special and sort of a best friend too as she is always by my side for a cuddle or whispering a secret. We got Emma from a home where they didn’t love her, take very good care of her and she felt unwanted, so I adopted her. We play all of the time but mostly in the backyard where she loves to run around to try and catch frisbees!
I miss Emma at night, though, as she used to sleep (and sometimes snore!) beside my bed on the floor, but suddenly mom won’t allow this any longer. I dislike saying goodnight to Emma because of those sad eyes looking up at me.
Say hello Emma....Whoof! Whoof!

I have two best friends, Carolyn, and Andrea and we do everything together pretty much every day after school and on the weekends. We love sleepovers (we tell our own spooky stories that even scare us!) or hiding out at our top-secret spot near the creek, or shopping at the mall with mom.
Andrea’s mom (Mrs. Burton) is the sweetest lady and I love going over to Andrea's house, especially when her mom bakes banana muffins. They are the greatest muffins in this world.
Mrs. Burton always gives gigantic bear hugs to both Andrea and me as soon as we walk in their front door, and at times she hugs me so tightly I think my bones will break!

I have difficulties with trusting adults, especially with any of my private secrets. Once when I was really little, I trusted somebody older than me who said he was my friend. Then he broke his promise and I refused to be his friend any longer. Even though I miss him, it has taken me a long time to get over it.
This is another secret of mine, trusting people. Adults don't know that I find some untrustworthy.
I'm still uncertain if I can trust Mrs. Fox. I'll have to wait and see.
Do you ever have problems with trusting adults? or friends? Maybe I'm not the only one. Trust is very important to children.
