Your mind is a strong tool. It's as much a muscle as your biceps, quads, or triceps. It commands all bodily function, and contains your being. So why wouldn't you treat your mind like any other muscle, exercising and maintaining it? It's the most valuable muscle you have.

Chapter 1 Your Mind is the Boss
2
Just like any other muscle in the body, the mind needs to be ready to perform the tasks asked of it. A healthy mind should be alert and observant, constantly learning from mistakes.
3
Also like any other muscle the brain needs to be stretched and relaxed. A healthy brain should readily go to sleep regularly.
4
People typically don't focus on their mental health as much as their physical health but mental health is just as important. Don't neglect your mind.
5
Chapter 2 Your Body is a Machine
When most people think of health, they think about their bodily health. The body is a delicate machine with many different systems and inner workings. It is imperative that the body is cared for.
6

7
Just like any machine the body needs maintenance in order to function and carry out tasks. For a healthy body this means regular exercise and rest. This ensures that the body can carry out daily tasks, and be ready when it needs to do work.
8
Also like a delicate machine, the body needs the proper fuel to perform at it's maximum capacity. This can mean eating the right foods, staying away from harmful substances, and taking medicines to combat illnesses, viruses, and infections.
9
The body is a complex and delicate machine so treat it like one, you'll be using it for the rest of your life. Maintain it, , recharge it, and give it the right fuel.
10
Chapter 3 Be a Social Butterfly
People are social creatures. As you go through life, you'll develop various relationships and interact with many different types of people. It's important to be able to navigate these relationships and interactions and to be able to engage in healthy ones.
11
Do you plan to go through life all on your own steam? Life is unpredictable and full of many surprises. Some of them are pleasant, some of them can be devastating. If you live long enough, you're bound to come to a situation or predicament that you are unable or too inexperienced to handle on your own. A socially healthy person has to be able to ask for help when they need it.
12
Equally as important, a person has to be able to give help when they can. If no one could ever help anyone , nothing would ever be accomplished. The ability to give and accept help is powerful and crucial for leading any assemblance of a healthy life. Help someone through some trouble, and they're more likely to return the favor.
13
Helping Hands make the world go round
14
Absolutely imperative for each and every person is to be a part of at least one loving relationship. Love can enhance your mental and physical health. Studies show that love not only decreases anxiety and depression in favor of increased pleasure and dopamine, it can also strengthen your immune system, lower blood pressure, speed recovery from illness and injury, and even lengthen your life span.
15
Living without any love can certainly affect the mental and physical health. People without loving relationships tend to have less self esteem and as a result don't care for themselves as much and they statistically visit the doctor more often.
16
Coming hand-in-hand with loving relationships is the essential and universal respect and understanding for others. A person who cannot respect anyone will experience difficulty in establishing any healthy relationships in life.
17
Another essential for good social health is the ability to communicate clearly your needs to others. This allows relationships to adapt, grow, and stay healthy. There can't be any good interaction without understanding.
18

19
Chapter 4 Should you risk it?
20
There is one element of staying healthy that can be as simple as common sense, determining and monitoring risk factors and weighing the risk in behaviors and activities.
21
In life, risk is unavoidable , there are two main types of risk factors. Factors that you can control, and factors you cannot. In every endeavor, the risk must be weighed against the benefit before a course of action is taken.
22
A controlled risk factor would be things like the intake of substances, level of physical activity, or use of protective gear. These factors all dependent on your decisions. For example, when taking a seat in an automobile, you have control of the risk factor by choosing to wear a seat belt.
23
Risk factors you cannot control would include things like plants in your environment that you're allergic to, your natural features like your skin color and how easily you can be sun burnt.
24
There are a few ways to gauge risk. One is to consider the short and long term consequences. Another is to determine whether or not you can control the risk factor. The final way is to consider the risks and rewards of the decision.
