Groundhog Day

Place:in a few small towns in Canada and the USA
people will to see if a groundhog (an animal that looks like a big mouse) comes out of his hole in the ground which mean spring is coming. It's a kind of local festival.

During the holiday the Canadian will reunite at home to celebrate Christmas. For them, Christmas is a family holiday which is like Spring Festival in China and the Chinese New Year's Eve.

The Canadian love hockey, this tradition had lasted for 100 years, hockey is an important part of their lives. In Canada, the most famous person uauslly is not an actor, a singer or a political figure, but a hockey player.

Place: United States, Canada and the United Kingdom
The annual black history month is a celebration for achievements of the American blacks overcome lot of difficulties, as well as the black people as the important role played in the development of American history.

Place: Canada, UK, Australia, the United States and New Zealand
In most of North America St.Patrick 's Day is not a statutory holiday but people hold a parade to celebrate every year, in that day they also love to wear green clothes, green hats and headgear.

Place: United States and Canada
Canada differs from United States, Canada's Thanksgiving is not about religious. A family reunion, enjoying roast turkey and pumpkin pie is the most classic way to celebrate it.

The Bay of Fundy is one of the 7 wonders of North America. The highest tides on earth, the rarest whales in the world. Transport, fishing and tourism are well developed, there is an important port in eastern Canada.

Place: Canada
To commemorate the birth of the queen of England, Vitoria, and her birthday as the supreme ruler of Canada. In some cities, fireworks displays or parades are held to celebrate Victoria Day.
