Patient 1:

Symptoms:

1.) chest pain

2.) shortness of breath

3.) weakness

4.) Pain in neck and jaw

5.) dizzy

Patient history:

He is 68 years old, high blood pressure, per-diabetic and he used to smoke he quit at age 34 until then he smoked 2 packs a day.

Diagnosis:

Doctor- I think my patient has heart failure, I think this because my first major hint was his age and chest pain. Heart failure can cause the body to become weak without enough oxygen going through the body. Even though you can not get rid of heart failure you can take certain medications to reduce your disease getting worse.

Patient 2:

Symptoms:

1.) yellowing in skin and eyes

2.) pain in upper right abdomen

3.) nausea

4.) swelling

5.) malaise

Patient history:

He is obese, alcoholic, and uses over the counter pain killer to help back pain.

Diagnosis:

Doctor: I believe my patient is having liver failure because of the yellowing of skin and eyes plus the over use of anti inflammatory can cause damage to the liver, without the liver your body will not be able to clean out toxins and good stuff causing the body to shut down. In this case I would recommend a liver transplant due to how server his condition is.
