Max was a playful little boy who loved cookies. He wanted cookies so bad, that he thought he would make them himself. He climbed onto the counter to get his ingredients when something terrible happened.
He knocked the labels off of the sugar and salt jars. He did not know which one was which.
Oh no! Max made a big mess. When he picked up the jars, he realized that he had no idea which jar was the salt, and which was the sugar. What was he going to do?
Max had a a great idea. He could use his senses to figure out which jar had the salt, and which jar had to sugar.
Max tasted what was inside of each jar.
"Hmm...this one takes like candy", he said! "This must be sugar".
"Hmm... this one tastes like a chip! This must be salt"
He then put the right labels back on the jars.
