HAPPY BIRTHDAY ALEX

"Today is the day!" Alex thought. Little Alex was so excited because today is his birthday. Alex has only one thing on his mind for his birthday. A new puppy!

His parents have always told him "When you turn 8 years old, we can get a new puppy".

Alex has been waiting for the new puppy forever, and now his dreams have come true.

"I wonder what the puppy will look like" thought Alex.

So Alex what do you want for you big birthday present?

A PUPPY!!

"That sounds like a great idea Alex" says mom.

"Let's head to bed and go puppy shopping tomorrow" says dad.

Alex wastes no time getting his room setup before bedtime. He has a plan of action and he could not hold back his excitement.

As Alex got ready for bed, his head was spinning with ideas on what his puppy would look like.

Alex and his family hit the road early in the morning in search for puppy stores.

But, as day turned to night the family could not find a puppy perfect for little alex.

Alex was sad.
