Introduction: Franklin D. Roosevelt was the 32nd president of the United States. He was born January 30th, 1882 in Hyde Park, New York. He died around April 12th of 1945 in Warm Springs, GA. FDR's role was to balance among groups like agriculture and labor.


Chapter One: "The First New Deal"- The Great Depression was a decline for the economic industry. It left millions of people unemployed and left many companies to go out of business. During "the first 100 days", FDR took control an made the government budget their money. Then FDR addressed the country by giving 30 speeches via the radio which was known as the fireside chats. He discussed many topics like the country's banking and the unemployment caused by the Great Depression. The New Deal authority also created to power and control the 7 state region around the Valley.


Chapter 2: "The Second New Deal"- The second New Deal was when the democrats explained to use an authority of the government as an self-help of sections of all classes and parts of the country. Republicans complained that the New Deal was spending money they didn't have. Then Huey Long impacted America by coming out with a plan to provide a fair standard of living by spreading the nations wealth among the nation. FDR's plan to "pack the court" was made to expand the supreme court to make it well-organized but which the bill didn't pass.


CHAPTER 3: "THE SECOND NEW DEAL"
