Dedicated to Victoria Pohlman, the meme queen.

Once upon a time, three beautiful princesses were preparing for their big feast. Along the way, they encountered a punctuation situation.

It was almost the king's birthday, and Princess comma needed to gather her friends and prepare for the village feast!

Princess Comma invited Princess Usage and Queen Quotation over to help make a grocery list for the feast. "First, we will need to make a blue silky cake for the king," said Queen quotation. Princess Comma said, " I believe we should, however, you need to fix your punctuation!"

As they walked along the streets, eager to buy groceries, Princess Comma explained to Queen Quotation proper punctuation. " In order to be a proper princess, you need proper punctuation. You use commas to separate two or more adjectives that describe the same noun. Therefore, you would say 'we need a blue, silky cake for the king'," said Queen Quotation.

Along the way, they encountered a troll who wouldn't let them through until they passed a test. "What 's the password?"
said the troll, "I'll give you a hint, it is something i love," said the troll. "Food is the best I would eat it all day if I could?" said Princess Usage. "Close, i'll let you pass, but you need punctuation!" said the troll.

Princess Comma explained to Princess Usage how to use punctuation. "When you want to combine two sentences together, you need to add a comma! Instead, you would say 'food is the best, I would eat it all day if I could'," said Princess Comma politely. "Now, let's get some candy for dessert!"
