One Saturday morning, Chase heard something loud coming down the road.

"Dad, do you hear that?"

Vroom.. Vroom..

"Look! It's a red race car" said Chase.

Chase talked to his dad that day and explained that he wanted to race a red race car just like the one on the road.

Later that afternoon, Chase heard more race cars coming down the street.

"Dad, look it's Allie from school!"

"And there's Tommy!" said Chase.

Chase continued to tell his Dad how much he wanted to race a car

just like his friends from school.

"Please, Dad!"

Chase's birthday is in a couple of days and his dad told him if he was a good boy, he might be able to get a red race car just like the one he wants for his birthday.

On his birthday, Chase ran down the stairs as fast as he could to see a big present in the living room.

Chase opened his present and got the red race car he always wanted. Now he can race with all of his friends.

"Thanks Dad, you're the best!"
