Once upon a time there was a country called Kosovo. Kosovo was part of a planet called Earth. Earth is made up of 70% of water. This is what Kosovo used to be like.
This is Kosovo now

There was a boy called Tom. Tom lived in a town called Sarten
Tom's dad was a scientist. He took Tom to his laboratory called Mark Labs.

At the laboratory Tom met many people in white jackets. Dr Mathers and Dr Tasson taught Tom about the rising sea levels. They started with the spheres on the Earth.

The first sphere Tom learnt about was the lithosphere. Tom lived in the lithosphere with 7 billion others. The lithosphere was the outer crust - the land of the planet.
Humans were part of the problem for the rising sea levels. They released Carbon Dioxide into the Earth's atmosphere.
Carbon Dioxide is a gas that is very important to the Earth

The second sphere Tom learnt about was the hydrosphere. The hydrosphere is all the waters on the Earth's surface which is all the rivers, seas and oceans.
The ice in the Arctic and Antarctic was melting so the sea levels were rising.

All living things including Tom and all the plant and animals on the Earth are part of the Biosphere.

The last sphere Tom discovered was the atmosphere. This was the air surrounding the Earth.
The atmosphere in the Earth was heating up and causing the ice to melt and the sea levels to rise.
Dr Mathers and Tasson were scientists who had to find ways to stop the rising sea levels.
One option they were researching was to reduce the Carbon Dioxide in the atmosphere.
A second idea is to pump water to the Arctics and let them freeze. So basically refreezing the hydrosphere.
