Once upon a time our earth as we know it was coming to an end because of how carless we were towards all the oil spills we were causing partly because of mining.

Some of the oil spills we are causing are coming from the machines that we are using to obtain materials from mines all around the world. Animals are dying because of those oil spills. Some effects on the environment could last for decades.

Those machines are harming our environment by causing environmental problems that include erosion, sinkholes, a decrease in biodiversity, contamination of groundwater, surface water and the contamination of soil from chemicals. Don't you think we should do something about this.

The larger the area wanted to mine the larger the trucks have to be. Those trucks use mercury which is carelessly dumped into the ocean.

Thankfully people have found a safer way to mine that could have significant public health and positive environmental affects leading to a better earth.
