Absolute Rule is a place ruled by one person and that one person has complete control over their people. They have a complete right to rule.

The French Revolution was a time where peasants went against all royalty. It got to be a very big deal and the King and Queen were executed at the end.

The Glorious Revolution was in 1688 when the thrown was taken over. William of Orange took the throne (English throne) from James II.

The Heliocentric Theory was created shortly after the death of Copernicus. The theory is that the sun is stationary and all the planets orbit around it.

During this time Russia was isolated by the Mongols. This was a time where all the Russian people turned to be monks, nuns or living by religion.

J is for John Locke

John Locke was an English Philosopher, he is known as ¨The Father of Liberalism¨. He also was one of many to come up with the idea of the American Revolution.

King Ferdinand was the King of Sicily and had a nickname ¨The Catholic¨. He was also the King of Aragón until he died.

Leviathan is a sea monster looking somewhat like an alligator that is referred to in religion (the Old Testament). It can also be used as a word for a large creature.

Monarchy is a form of government. When there is a monarch at the head of the government (like a King or Queen)

Natural Law is basically just rules that people have to follow in their everyday lives. Basically just a law but instead it can have things to do with social aspects and more not just basic laws.
