Hey everybody! It's me, Mickey Mouse! Today we are going to go on an adventure through a cell.

In order to get in the cell we need to say the magic word, diffusion! Can you say the word diffusion with me on the count of 1,2,3!
DIFFUSION!

Good Job! We can now start our adventure through the cell. This is the first layer of the cell called the cell wall. The cell wall is the protective layer around cells.

Now we are in the second layer of the cell called the cell membrane. The cell membrane allows certain things into the cell, while keeping somethings out. In order to get to the next part of the cell we have to spell it out! Can you spell nucleus?

AWESOME JOB! This part of the cell is called the nucleus. The nucleus' job is to control what the cell does.

This section of the cell is called rough endoplamic reticulum. This section puts together proteins by having ribosomes. Ribosomes are the protein builders of a cell.
The next part of the cell is called smooth endoplasmic reticulum. This part of the cell is the making and growth of fats and hormones.

Golgi bodies change proteins and fats and are responsible for giving out cell chemical products.
