I dedicate this book to my favorite teacher, and the best mom & dad in the universe. You all deserve the world and everything you've wanted and desire. Keep on going, and don't lose faith in yourself or in other people.

Sam and her family made the biggest decision at that very moment. In their tiny, cottage house inside of Sam's brightly painted mint green colored walls, and tiny trundle bed. The moment she was dreading and the sudden need to scream, yell, and cry. They had to move. Once again, Sam had to get used to being alone, and the struggle of fitting in, and people making fun of her for being different. And now it felt like she had to carry the worlds weight on her shoulders.
Once again.
Into a small village in Scranton, called Abbottstown.

"Honey, come here quickly." Sam's mom, Chandra, called out to her.
"Yeah, mom?"
"I want you to look at the computer, and pick out any school you think will best suit you!" Mom smiled with glee, eyes shining with excitement. Did she really expect me to be okay moving into a new school and town for dogs?
She went babbling on and on, "Oh, look how darling this school is! Oh, how cute! Sam, look 'best teachers in the nation! Sounds important."
I left her babbling to herself and tiptoed into my mint green room.

And then she fell into a deep sleep. . .
and had the weirdest dream possibe.
I was already in my new town. We weren't supposed to move until next week; Abbottstown

So I walked through the town, into the forest, and finally I saw:

A great big oak school! It was so smooth, and shiny and beautiful, she couldn't stop staring at it.

After endless hours of staring at the beautiful school, she saw a big Rottweiler. She jumped into the bushes, shaking with terror. And the dog spoke. . . .
Hey! you going to school?
i guess

Mr. Woofy

Rottweiler pulled me into a random classroom, and told the teacher i was a new student.

Rottweiler and I learned each others names, (Hers was kylee) and just like that we become pretty good friends. I was blinded with happiness that i actually made A FRIEND, and it was all destroyed that moment when a mean looking dog stopped us in the hallways.

Hey Weirdo! Go back to your weak, pathetic, kitten town. Nobody wants you here!! BAHAHAHAH look at how ugly you are!!

I ran out of the school. It was happening again. And i knew he was just going to continue doing this every single day. How do i deal with this? Why did i have to be so weird, and different than everyone else? Why couldn't i just be born a dog? My eyes were burning with a flood of tears.
So many questions rambled in my head. . . .
