This book is dedicated to Chloe Ann Wilson, beloved dog, friend and sweet soul. May you be forever in our hearts Chloe.

Running fast thru the high meadow now, she is faster that the others beside her. "Wormage" her earth parents called her, she didn't much like that nickname but guess she earned it. Occasionally making her way across the house as her parents dropped off to sleep, she goes into her best friends room to get to the leftover pizza or burger left in the trash. She felt he'd left it for her so it was her duty to clean up.
Gloworm or Wormage had earned their love hanging with Landen
all these year. They use to play hard together, understood each other
and shared a lot of food together, standing by one another when they went too far.
Still running thru this meadow you could see the tops of her shoulders and head, strong again now, she's ahead of the others still. Chloe turns right to circle wide and picks up her pace coming back around and up the middle, she soon catches up and takes her place again ahead of the others. She is still a fast runner in this meadow and it felt good to go full power, she hasn't been able to do
that for a while now. Chloe had been the matriarch of her earth family, bringing love and comfort to each of them there. "Attack, Kill, Destroy" her master would teasingly tell her. It was her call to bark loudly, showing no fear, ready for anything coming their way! She was their protector! She loved making him happy and it earned her bites of bacon each morning.
She remembers her female master, the gentler one and
following her from room to room, never tiring to be by her side, all the ready to be kissed and loved on. "Chloer's" she was affectionately called by her. She loved her back just the same.
The pack starts to veer to the left now and she is feeling better than she has in years! Still thinking of her earth family, she thinks of Beth, sweet Beth, always gentle and kind to her. Playing dress up when they were younger and letting her get
on her bed when she was afraid of the storms.
The pack is getting closer to the place where they are going, coming together tighter, she looks back for a moment to take a last look into her earth family's lives. She misses them but wants them to know she is ok. Chloe is happy and on to her next adventure! The pace starts to slow now, all of them reaching the other side at once. They stand tall on the hill looking at their new home.
Back on earth Landen has his balloon in his hand whispering to it about the things he talks about, he talks to Chloe before he launches it. Up, Up, Up in the sky it goes! Landen is perched on his swing set like always, it's the best advantage to watch as the balloon rises higher and higher.
As the balloon rises high from Landens' view, Chloe steps onto the other side of the hill. She has made it to her new home now, her body has been restored and she is at her best.
She sees a sign in the distance that says "Nana's Canine Cafe" and she knows... you're home now Chloe Ann.
