Convection: Hot air rises and cold air goes down

The lighter a surface is the more its going to help cool down or heat an area.

The darker the surface the harder it's going to be to and will likely be a lot hotter during the summer and colder during the winter.

There are two types of breezes sea breeze and land breeze.

Land breeze is a breeze that's coming from land to the water.

Sea breezes are breezes that come from the water to the land.

Lake effect snow happens when there is hot water but cold air. This make it to snow a lot where the wind was blowing which typically is the same every year.
