I dedicate this story to the children of the families who had lost a very loved family member in the bombing of Nagasaki and Hiroshima. The bombing by the Americans had happened in 1945 due to the Japanese "refusing to surrender when facing conventional warfare.

As the children, Jimmy, Luke, and Robert were playing with each other outside on a sunny, beautiful day...

They look up at the sky and see a plane zoom across the sky and look back down at each other in confusion.

They run inside, not knowing what to do, to find their mother panicking in the house, calling their father, who left to go to work 10 minutes ago.

All in one moment, the sky burst into a flash, the ground shook, and the buildings were toppling.

The mother and children wake up with many scars, bruises, and cuts on themselves and find themselves underneath a bunch of rubbish. They then get up to look outside to find a destroyed city.
