To start off with, students work in pairs or small groups and each group selects an animal they would like to work on.

They then go off to the library or the multimedia room to research their animal.

Students are given guidance as to what information they could find (e.g. habitat, eating habits, lifespan, any interesting/crazy facts etc.)

Based on the information they find, students then write a series of questions that they will "ask" their animal interviewees.

Finally, they work together to create their animal interviews using storyjumper or another story telling tool.
