For my English teacher, Mariate and my classmates in Early Childhood Education.
Long ago, a long time ago, when the first men began to inhabit the Earth, there were already fearful beasts that dominated the darkness and sowed terror in their wake.
Fortunately, there were also good and compassionate beings, like the fairies, who served the man and protected him from all danger. Thus, so that the first inhabitants of the earth did not die of cold in the harsh winter, the Fairy of Light gave them the fire.
And so they could defend themselves against the great monsters, the Fairy of the Metals, he gave them swords and shields. All good-natured fairies had something to give men, all but the Fairy of the Night, which despite being generous, could not find a gift that could be of use.
