Jimmy the Baby Panda was a happy and cheerful panda. He loved doing things with his mama, especially taking long, long naps.

Jimmy was playing with his mama when he looked up and saw big dark clouds covering the blue of the sky. Mama said, "Go inside the cave and we will be dry."

Jimmy and his mama fled to the cave. Baby Jimmy said, "Mama, are we going to sleep here tonight?" Mama looked at here baby panda with a sad look, "Yes my love, just for tonight."

Jimmy woke up the next morning and found that Mama was no where to be seen. He looked all over the cave and looked outside, no sign of her.

"Mama? Mama!" Jimmy shouted and yelled from the top of his lungs. Jimmy started to get scared and began to cry. Once again, it started to rain.

Jimmy went around the forest asking other animals if they have seen any other pandas like himself.

He asked a Tucan, "Have you seen my mama, she looks just like me only bigger." The Tucan said, "No, I haven't seen a panda like you in years. But go to the sloth who lives in the large Red Wood tree, he would have seen her."

Jimmy goes to the large Red Wood tree and looks for the sloth. Jimmy has to climb the tree to have a better view of the area.

When he reaches the top of the tree, he finds the sloth and says, "Have you seen my mama? She looks just like me, but bigger."

"No little panda, I have not seen your mother, in fact, I haven't seen any other pandas like yourself in many, many years." says the sloth.

"Do you know where she could have gone?" asks Jimmy. "Or where she could be?"
