Mrs.Pettit for being an awesome psychology teacher.

My name is Flounder and I am a fish, but I am not related to Nemo, Marlin or Dory.
When I was younger, I lived deep beneath the sea. I had a best friend named Ariel. We loved exploring underwater but Ariel always dreamed of living on land as a human.

Ariel was always searching for human treasures. She collected all kinds of artifacts, despite having no idea what they were, when she went on explorations.

Ariel kept all her findings away in a secret cave where no one could get a hold of them. She kept a collection of those stuff even though she didn't need them for her underwater life.

One day, instead of going to a concert she had promised her father to attend, Ariel dragged me with her to go hunting for treasure.

We found a strange forked object. We then swam to the surface to find scuttle the seagull. "It's a dinglehopper!" he proclaimed.

It's a dinglehopper!

Ariel's father was King Triton, ruler of the sea. He thought humans were dangerous.
When he learned that Ariel had been to the surface, he forbade her to ever go there again! The King then asked Sebastian the crab to keep an eye on her.

Sebastian was the King's most trusted servant. He was structured and followed everything step by step. He was always over protective of Ariel.

Sebastian worried about Ariel's safety and tried to avoid letting her go anywhere especially onto the land constantly repeating "under the sea" is the best. He also worried over every little thing such as what Triton might think if he does something wrong.

But Ariel continued to go to the surface. One night, a terrible storm swept across the sea. Ariel and I watched as Prince Eric fell of a huge ship. "I must save him!" she cried.

Ariel pulled Prince Eric to shore and sang to him, then she swam away. The Prince didn't catch a glimpse of Ariel's face, but he knew he would remember her beautiful voice forever.

Desperate to see Prince Eric again, Ariel agreed to give her voice to the evil sea witch, Ursula. In return she would be turned into a human.

But if Prince Eric didn't kiss Ariel by sunset on the third day, she would become a mermaid again and even worse she would belong to the sea witch forever.

Ariel really loved the "dinglehopper" which she used as a hair brush, and would get upset and depressed when she could not find it.
Charmed by her beauty, Prince Eric showed Ariel his kingdom. Ariel loved having the company of the Prince in the human world, but the two had not kissed yet.
