This book is dedicated to my five year old little sister who needs to learn to read.

1848-There was a man named Joseph Smith, he was the leader of a church group called Mormons.

All of Joseph Smiths and the other Mormons neighbors disapproved. No one liked their religion.

The Mormons were tired of being treated unfairly so they decided to leave and go to Utah.

The Journey to Utah was the largest travel in U.S. history. About 12,000 people moved to Utah.

Once they got there they found out Utah was a desert. The people had to figure out how to farm a certain way, but soon figured it and everything was okay.
