Rosie is Passionate about soccer. There is nothing in the world she would rather be doing.

In the morning she rolls out of bed and immediately puts on her cleats. When she is at school she can't wait for recess so she can practice her juggling tricks. When she goes to bed at night she dreams of winning the world cup.

Sometimes Rosie watches the boys play soccer at recess. She wishes she could join them, but they've never asked her to play. One day Rosie decides to ask for herself.

Redd the fastest boy on the team told Rosie she couldn't play because she's a girl. No one had ever denied Rosie an opportunity because of her gender. Rosie looked Redd straight in the eye and promised him girls were JUST as good at soccer as boys.

The next day at school Rosie rallied all the girls together and created a soccer team! At recess the girls challenged the boys to a game. Redd and his friends laughed at the girls and refused to play them. But Rosie would not take no for an answer.
