This book is dedicated to all the ions, proteins, and other important organelles that are responsible for Action Potential.
Once Upon A Time. . .
There was a king and queen who ruled a kingdom. The Queen's name is Sodium Ion and the King's name is Potassium Ion. These two are the head personnel of the Action Potential castle.
Mr. and Mrs. Ion are responsible for the increases and decreases in the charges for the action potential kingdom. The next two most important people in the kingdom are the Prince and Princess. Their names are Sodium (channel) Jr. and Potassium (channel) Jr.
Sodium (channel) Jr. and Potassium (channel) Jr. are responsible for helping their parents change the charge of the kingdom. Two other essential people in the kingdom are the bodyguards of the castle. They are the pumps that only allow the King and Queen to go in and out of the castle when they're supposed to. The guards are given ATP burgers to help power them so that they can properly guard the castle.
We are all ESSENTIAL in keeping this kingdom running!
