For my mom.

Once upon a time, there was a little girl named Hailey.

Hailey lived in a neighborhood with all of her best friends and went to a small private school where she knew everyone.

When Hailey was in the first grade, a car crashed into her house.

Hailey had to move to a new neighborhood and a new school.

At first, she was sad and nervous because she didn’t know anyone.

Over time, Hailey made many more friends than she had had at her old school and she had much more fun in her new neighborhood because she would play hide ‘n’ seek and kickball and other games with all of her neighbors.

Hailey realized that even though a car crashing into her house was a very bad thing, she received many more opportunities and friends than she would’ve had if she hadn’t moved.

Years later, Hailey is in high school and she has a job at the daycare in her old school.

She loves her job because she gets to take care of all the cute little boys and girls.

Hailey realizes that her job is a big part of who she is because it has taught her so much.
