Money?
There are different economic systems about peoples money and that's what we are going to take about. Do you care about your money? You may and may not that could be a very bad thing or an okay thing; but it depends on the type of economic system. Command economy is controlled by the government, they boss all the workers around; based on what they want. And then there's traditional economic system, which uses trade and makes things based on their culture.

Rulers
The world is a large place, so who is ruling this large land? Well, not all countries have "kings" and "queens" or people in the nature. Maybe a country has a democracy, where all people make the rules and get a say. Or maybe a country, has dictatorship, which is where one single person makes/creates all the rules. Though a country may be difficult when it comes down to government, they may have a monarchy. Monarchy is where there is a "King" or "Queen", but they have no power or saying. The government rules and they royalty (kings and queens) are just a model for their land.

Religion
What is Religion? Religion is a series of beliefs and customs. Religions can be Polytheistic meaning to believe in more than one god. There's also Monotheistic which means to believe (or worship) one singular god. What are some of these religions? Religion includes Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, Judaism, and Buddhism.

China's leader Mao wanted to modernize China by building factories and bringing in more technology. Farmers would share livestock and tools; and people had no rights or freedom. This caused the Great Leap Forward, where Mao encouraged students to rebel against teachers, parents and adults. People who did not follow Mao's rules were put into labor camps or jail.
