Probably the wheel is one of the most important inventions in history. Virtually any machine built since the beginning of the industrial revolution has to a greater or lesser extent the presence of the wheel.

When Etienne Lenoir invented the internal combustion engine in the year 1860 began to modify the use of horse-drawn carriages.
A couple of years passed before the German Gottlieb Daimler built the first car powered by an internal combustion engine in 1866. A new industry and a new market began.
In 1896. Henry Ford builds his first motor vehicle Quadricycle (quad) and performs the first dynamic tests. The same year, Ransom Eli Olds and Alexander Winton also finished their first experimental vehicles.
When Henry Ford began mass-producing the automobile, with its "T model" in 1908, the cost of the vehicles decreased, allowing people to buy a car.
