Hello!
こんにちは!
ko n ni chi ha!
My name is Mayu Kitanoya.
I live in Nishio, Aichi prefecture.
I like watching Japanese drama, sleeping, listening to music, singing, playing sports, travelling and cooking.

Welcome to Japan♪

I came here on the 29th of April 2017 3 months ago. I will stay here 1 year because I will study English more.
I chose New Zealand, Nelson, Waimea college
because this place is safer and I thought there would not be many Japanese students here but
I was wrong. I think if I stay with my Japanese friends too much I wouldn't speak enough English.
New Zealand to Japan
Similar ・Take shoes off in room.
Different ・Often just one main dish for dinner in NZ.
( In Japan ,we eat main dishes, side dishes, salad...)
・Do not wash laundry every day in NZ.
・How to express affection.
・No train in Nelson, it's not so useful.
・When riding a bicycle, must wear a helmet
in NZ
・British English (Japanese learn American
English)
・Can use cellphones at the school.
・ Do not eat much fish in NZ.
I was surprised about washing dishes in NZ. Kiwis don't use bathtubs. They often make leftovers and most people disappear fast after school.
☆Japan☆
Washing dishes
When we wash dishes, we wash detergent away with a sponge.
Use bathtubs
We always use bathtubs and a shower.
and when I was in Japan, I always have 40 minutes to take a bath and shower.
Leftovers
If Japanese people have leftovers, we use them for other dishes. Many kiwis throw leftovers away.
After school
Japanese students often do a club activity, hang out with friends or do their homework with friends at school and after school.
