Ben and Bob's Exams
______________________
Bob stared at the message he got from school that day. It was afternoon on a Tuesday. The brothers just came back from school. Both of them had a papers each in their hand. It was from the principal.
To the parent of this child:
We, the school hope that your son is prepared for next weeks Math exams. Take note that two papers will have to be written and your child will be back a bit late. Yours, the principal
Mom and Dad looked at the paper. "Bob, why did you not tell us exams is next week?" asked Mom. "Erm...I did not know", said Bob slowly. "Bob, we know you knew", said Dad. "Ben what about you?" "I assure you Dad I had no knowledge of this. But I will start studying right away", politely replied Ben. Mom smiled. "Thank you". "And, you Bob. No TV or computer until you know everything and me and Dad test you". "What?" gasped Bob. "But...but...you can't do that!" "We can and we will" said Dad, firmly.

Bob threw himself on the bed. He started at his school work. Why did he have to do it? There was no way out. He was trapped. He took a look at the sums. "A plus one minus C....oh come on!" he yelled. If he could get any brainy kid to help him with his exams he would be able to win this.
All of a sudden Bob had a brilliant idea. There was no risk to it. However, there was something he always dreaded to do: ask his brother for help. He knocked on the door. Ben opened. "Hello, Ben", said Bob, politely. "What do you want", asked Ben. "I was just wondering if you maybe...perhaps...i dunno...help...me...with...exams" said Bob, dreading this conversation. "You want me to help you with exams?" said Ben slowly. "Yes" Ben thought for a moment. Was this just another trick by his brother? Well, maybe it wasn't but he couldn't take the risk.

Maybe he could help him, but at the same time not. "Okay!", said Ben. Bob gave the paper to Ben. He flung himself of the bed and waited for Ben to start.. "Are you not going to study with me?", asked his brother. "Of course not. I can't tire myself", responded Bob. Ben frowned. He knew exactly what he was going to do. He told Bob all the answers, but secretly none of them were right! "Are you done with your studying" called Mom from downstairs. "Yes!" called Bob

"Okay then, I'll test you tomorrow night". Oh no. He couldn't be tested. He didn't know anything. There was definitely no way out now. If Mom knew that he never go over anything she would ground him for a week. He couldn't even remember the answers Ben gave him. "I'll just act normal tomorrow and not remind Mom about it", he thought. "Hopefully she won't remember". The next morning Bob went to school normal and never say a word. When he came back Mom did not talk about him being tested. When the clock struck seven Bob was waiting in his room for Mom to call him down. But the call never come. Soon it was bedtime and he was still not tested. Bob was victorious.
Mom forgot to test him so he was now in the clear. The next day was weekend so it was time to sit by the TV, eat crisps and relax. Bob didn't expect Mom to remember and he was right. Monday would be exams and he never worry to study anything.

Bob overheard Mom saying that visitors were coming. When he heard who it was he thought his ears fell off. No, it was not Sam, his arch enemy. It was Jacob. Jacob was the biggest telltale in school. Jacob would tell if Bob broke David's pencil. Jacob would go to the teacher and tell that Bob was making faces. Jacob would tell... think of any bad deed Bob would do, Jacob would definitely tell. Jacob was also very smart and a big boaster. He would go on for hours of how well he learned for the upcoming exams. Bob would not be able to take it. He'll run screaming from the house. He had to hide in the room forever until Jacob went.
This is how Jacob looked:

A very angry child, indeed
Ben went downstairs whilst Bob hid in his room. He could hear Jacob loud, squeaky voice from downstairs. "Yuck", he thought. Bob lay on his bed, waiting for Jacob to go. Soon he fell asleep. He woke up to find that it was the next day. "What a relief", he thought. He looked at the calendar. Oh no! Tomorrow was exams and he knew nothing. He ran out and knocked on Ben's door. Ben opened. "Oh hel-" "Ben! Write down those answers! NOW! Tomorrow is exams!" "Okay, fine", said Ben.
He grabbed a pencil and wrote down the fake answers for Bob to take to school the next day. Ben gave the paper to Bob and Bob raced out without thanking Ben. It was the next day. Ben and Bob had their bags and books with them. Bob had his fake answers with him too.
