Jeffy lives at home, with his caring mum and loving father. His house has pretty paintings, tall vases, and high ceilings. He loves his home, but you know what he doesn’t like?

BEDTIME!

Jeffy doesn’t like going to bed. He wants to stay up aaaaaaaall night. But his mum won't let him. She says that he has to go to sleep. 'But Mum!!!!!' he would scream. 'I wanna stay up so I can watch Mr Cool!' 'You need your sleep!' replied mum.

So one day, Jeffy got tired of being told what to do. So he ran away from home. He ran to the petrol station, and saw lots of different cars pass by.

He ran to the city, where he saw lots of tall buildings.

He also ran to the museum, were he saw many great works of art.

Jeffy was looking at a sculpture, when suddenly a huge rumble shook his stomach. He suddenly realized the he was hungry! He craved a chicken sandwich, a roast lamb, or a bar of chocolate! he could almost smell it in the air!

But instead of going back home, he went to the local bakery, were he asked for a loaf of bread. "No," said the shopkeeper. "Get your own!" He got sent out of the bakery.
