He everyone I just stopped by to check out what all the hype is about blood pathways.

Well it is just how it sounds.  It is the pathway for blood through the heart, lungs and vessels.

Well, it starts in the Heart!!!!  Blood from the little capillaries goes into the heart through the superior and inferior vena cava.

Then what?

Blood then enters the heart in the right atrium.  Once it contracts, blood moves through the tricuspid valve on to the right ventricle and then it contracts!!!!

So tell me more, this is really living up to all the hype that everyone has been talking about!!

Well, let's keep moving so you can get to the end.  Next the blood goes through the pulmonary arteries to the capillary beds in the lungs.  Guess what, then the blood becomes oxygenated.

So it becomes oxygenated?

Yes it does.  The oxygenated blood returns to the heart via the pulmonary veins and the pulmonary valve.  Then the blood enters the left atrium and then it contracts.

Then the blood goes into the bicuspid valve to the left ventricle, and then it contacts once again!!!

This is really fascinating!

Now here comes some big words.  After it contacts blood will go through the aortic semi-lunar valve to the capillary beds of the body!!!  See we have beds in our bodies!!
