In the small Algonquian Tribe, a family that didn't get a long with the rest of the tribe set out to ruin the lives of others because they were no longer happy with how they were treated.

The family went out to talk to Mother Earth. They wanted her to curse the tribe for the rest of their lives.

"They have ruined our lives, and now we want you to ruin theirs." demanded the women when she went to talk to Mother Earth.

Mother Earth replied, "I can curse the town with horrible weather under one condition... your entire bloodline must live there forever. "

They agreed on the deal, and went on with their lives.

The tribe kept getting hit with storm after storm. There was never a day that the rain or the winds would stop. People started to question the gods, "What has cursed us? What have we done wrong!?"

All of their fields started to flood, and they could no longer supply their tribe with food. The bad weather lead to no more sunshine and soon everyone started getting sick.

Many lifetimes later, a girl decided she wanted to learn what had happened and where the curse came from. She questioned her very wise grandmother and she learned that it was her past generations who had caused all of this. Determined, she decided she wanted to fix all of this.

There is only one way that she could speak to the gods, and that was to die. She was willing to put her life on the line so that she could help save her tribe. She decided to jump off of a cliff and land in the opened arms of the gods.

She started to second guess her idea, she didn't want to die but she did want to fix the mess that her bloodline had made.

When she was finally ready to let go, she leaped from the cliff and hit the arms of the gods. They questioned her why she would come to them at such a young age.
