"Hi! I'm Olivia! See that girl in the purple dress? Yeah, she's my best friend, and the princess of Amsterdam. Her dog just went missing, and she has asked me to go find him. She promises to send her pet birds with us along the way to get a better view from the sky. Come on, let's go on this adventure together!"

"Hmmm... I don't see her pet dog, Buddy, here! This is where the princess takes her dog for a walk everyday. The two birds have not chirped yet, so they must not see Buddy either. The sky looks pretty dark... I hope it doesn't rain on us!"

"This is the pet salon that Buddy comes to to get his hair done before the king and queen hold big events at the castle! I really thought he may be here since Buddy LOVES a spa day. Look! Now there are three birds helping us search. They don't seem to see Buddy either... Maybe he decided to go for a swim?"

"Well, it looks like Buddy didn't go for a swim either! This is one of my favorite places to explore in Amsterdam. See those green things on the water? They are called lily pads! They float on top of the water, and grow from the muddy bottom of a body of water. I can't seem to find the birds. Do you see the birds?"

"The birds are going crazy! I see paw prints in the sand! Buddy must have been here!! If only he had stayed here... We must be getting closer to him though! The birds are flying north, which means I think I know where we are going next. So long for now, Amsterdam!"

"Venice! This is where Buddy was born! How many birds do you see now? They must be picking up on Buddy's scent because they are chirping and flying so fast I had to get on a boat to keep up with them!"

"Buddy, thank goodness I found you!! I've been looking everywhere for you! It looks like he just wanted to visit his brother. I'm so thankful for the seven birds who helped lead me here. Come on boy, we have to go home. The princess has been worried sick about you!"

"I found your dog princess! He was in Venice visiting his brother. Your pet birds were such a big help! Every place I checked, one more bird came along to look. I also want to thank you, the reader, for coming along on this adventure with me! I couldn't have done it without you!"
