This is a story about two kids

One day two kids went for a walk to go find some firewood and they came across a very colourful and bright rainbow. They were very curious about rainbows and they wanted to know more so they went to their grandparents. "Grandma! Grandad!" they yelled. We need to know more about rainbows! So the grandparents told them everything they knew.

What is a Rainbow?
A rainbow is a ray of colour made from the sun and the rain drops. The light from the sun disperses (spreads out) through the rain drops in the atmosphere. This makes an arch shape of many different colours. The colour comes from the sun because the sun is not the colour you see. It is many different colours. "That is what a rainbow is." said Grandad.
