In 1840, the Native Indians were kicked from their land and forced to move somewhere else. This journey was called the trail of tears and many people died on it.














































The natives used their resources around them.












They built up towns in their new lands.
With these new towns, they created laws and governments. These tribes wrote up constitutions, laws, and more.
















They had to clear out land and make room for crops and such. They had to find out how to make a living for themselves in the new modern day & in the new land.


The Indians also developed a manufacturing industry. They opened sawmills, cotton gins,and saltworks.
The missionaries had the biggest affect.
