There are two types of elephants...
Asian elephant
They are smaller and have more hair
and African elephants.
They are larger and carry big tusks!
Elephants get hungry just like you!
They spend up to 80% of their day eating.
They eat hundreds of pounds of plants each day.
Elephants use their trunks to put the food into their mouths!
They love to eat things like:
Small plants
Wild brush
Twigs
Fruits and vegetables
and even tree bark!
