"Let's pretend we're squirrels and gather acorns for the winter," I told my friend Curtis. Our grandma's were neighbors and we were in the same grade at school. Occasionally we both ended up at our grandma's houses at the same time. When that happened, we used whatever we could find to have fun.

Acorns were the best! Looking at our mountain of acorns, a new idea sparked in my mind! 

"Let's use rocks to grind them into powder!" I suggested.
