I had no friends at my new school. It was the beginning of the school year.  

One day I saw a girl on the red bench, under the play set at recess.  

I felt nervous going up to her and I was shaking. She said, “My name is Sophie.” I asked her to play. She said, “No,” because she is calm and wanted to sit on the red bench.  

So, that is what we did. We sat and talked to get to know each other.

We started walking towards the field. When we got to the field, she told me that if she runs too much she will get sick. That is when I understood why she is so calm.
