Theodore was the only wolf on the moon. He was an outcast in the village, and was always lonely. He also hated light, it hurt his eyes, and the villagers on the moon made fun of him for it.

One day Theodore howled in pain from the villager's lights. His howl was weak, so few villagers heard it. But the few that did, turned their lights off. Theo was amazed, and his eyes instantly felt a bit better. Every night, from then on, he would howl at them so they would turn there lights off. Each night gaining strength and getting louder. The louder he howled, the more people would turn there lights off.

After several days of howling, Theodore went for a walk and found himself in a very dark side of the moon that he had never seen before. It was amazing and Theodore loved it. He wanted to stay here forever, but he remembered the fun he had scaring the rude villagers.

Theo decided that each time he gave his weakest howl, he would visit the other side of the moon, and let the villagers have the light. This pattern lasted around half of a cycle around the green and blue planet.

When he returned to the village, he would start his howl soft. Every night he would get louder. Then Theodore would soften his howl gradually, until almost no villagers heard him. Then he'd scamper away from the light and into the dark.
