Once there was a girl named Jo.



Once there was a boy named Joe.





Ever since Jo was a little girl, she dreamed of being a scientist.



Ever since Joe was a little boy, he dreamed of being a teacher.









When Jo was in 4th grade, she won 1st place at the science fair! Some of her friends said she couldn’t be a scientist, but she knew they were wrong.











When Joe was in 4th grade, he tutored a kindergartner for the first time! Some of his friends said he couldn’t be a teacher, but he knew they were wrong.





When Jo was in 6th grade, she received a doll for her birthday. She really wished she got the microscope that her brother received for his birthday.








When Joe was in 6th grade, he received a Hot Wheels car for his birthday. He really wished he got the chalkboard easel that his little sister received for her birthday.








In high school, Jo chose to take an advanced science course. She was the only girl in the class. This was really hard for Jo.













In high school, Joe chose to take a child development course. He was the only boy in his class. This was difficult for Joe.
