Once upon a time,

From her tower in the sky

Lived a Queen who ruled a kingdom

Of people from far and wide

From the coasts of California

And from Belgium, across the sea

From the fields of Pennsylvania

Even Washington, DC!

This unique group of humans

Chose her to be their Queen!

She thought they were mistaken

For she was only nineteen

She was not a perfect person

Like she imagined Queens to be

She was quiet, shy, soft-spoken

And as awkward as can be

Her first day on the throne

She trembled violently with fear

Her words spilled out in stutters

And she wanted to shed a tear

She wasn’t the best at speaking

But she could work well with her hands

She made bulletin boards, decorations for doors

She transformed her entire land
