Before we start our little gardening adventure, it is a good idea to ask your parents or a teacher to help you. They usually know better where exactly to find everything we will need. Besides, they will help us and take care of us as well.

First, we need to find the perfect place to plant the seed. It could be in the garden at your house or in the school yard as well. The most important thing to have in mind is that our plant needs the sun to survive. So, make sure our plant will be under the sun in the spot of your choice.

If you don't have a huge garden where to plant it or if you just want to have your plant closer to you inside your house or room, worry not, you can also use a flower pot. Just make sure is big enough for our seed when it becomes a plant or a flower. And remember to put it under the sun during the day.

Once you have found the perfect spot, it is time to star digging. You may want to water the ground before start digging, it will be much easier to dig a large and deep hole for our seed. If it turns out to be difficult to do it by yourself, you can ask an adult to help you out!

If you are using a flower pot you will not need to dig, but you will need soil anyways. However, it has to be a special and rich soil that can be bought in a shop or supermarket. You can ask an adult to buy it for you!
