Today, Artie is going to teach us about adverbs. An adverb is a word that modifies a verb, adjective, or other adverb. To put it another way, an adverb describes actions, and it describes other descriptive words.

Artie quickly woke up with a startle and loudly jumped out of bed. He was already late for his incredibly adventurous day.
Before the day could begin, Artie needs to carefully choose what hat is best for his day of adventures. A party hat, a cowboy hat, a hat full of color or a baseball hat? In the end, he decided that the baseball suited him best. Don't you agree?

He hungrily shuffled into the kitchen where he delightfully ate the whole box of cereal to cure his grumbling tummy.

He eagerly walked through the lively village toward his destination; the world's most enormously huge and endlessly fun zoo to visit his most important friends.

After a long walk, he successfully made it to his most favorite part of his incredibly adventurous day. He cheerfully greeted all of his friends as they eagerly invited Artie to play.

And they played. And they played. Until it was suddenly dark and Artie was tremendously tired. He sweetly said goodbye to his friends and swiftly began his walk home.

Artie tiredly took off his hat and gladly crawled into his perfectly comfortable bed, happily dreaming of his incredibly adventurous day.
