Once upon a time there was a robot named Carl he had a brain which is the Nucleus. The cell Nucleus acts like the brain of the cells. It helps control the movement of the body and thinking.

After a long hard day of work Carl was drained so he decided to treat himself to a hefty meal of batteries, which is called Ribosomes. Ribosomes are the protein builders or the protein synthesizers of the cell.

After eating Carl's belly is now full, so now he is ready to manufacture and package his energy which is considered Endoplasmic Reticulum (ER).

The Smooth ER is what stores energy to use for later. The Rough ER is what packages and ships out the energy. These are typically used for him to have movement within his body.

After Carl ate and his belly is full he decided to go for a walk in the park. As he was walking he realized he was tired so he sat on the bench, closed his eyes then dozed off. The function that caused him to close his eyes is called Golgi Apparatus. Golgi Apparatus are layers of membranes may look like the rough ER but they have a very different function.

After Carl woke up he realized that he has to use the bathroom. When he went he came out and felt good. The reason he went to the bathroom is because of Mitochondria. Mitochondria is organelles that act like the digestive system which takes in nutrients like food and break them down and turn it into energy for other cells.

When Carl realized he was still feeling full he was happy that this happened because he had no more money for food. This happened because of vacuole, vacuoles are what store food or energy for later.
