To Mrs. Clark
I hope you love it!

Once upon a time, there lived two cell kingdoms, the Plant Cell kingdom and the Animal Cell kingdom. Both kingdoms lived in peace despite their differences.

Hi Annie! Your nucleus looks sharp today!
Thanks Peter!
The Plant Cell Kingdom lived in a small village surrounded by a cell wall and cell membrane, to keep out any intruders. The cytoplasm kept the kingdom in shape.

Not far from the Plant Cell Kingdom lives the Animal Cell kingdom, a peaceful town surrounded by a cell membrane. The cytoplasm also kept this town together.
But one day, the cell membrane accidentally let in a misplaced piece of DNA, it could cause the nucleus to completely break!

Those pesky cell kingdoms need to dealt with...
One of the ribosomes, named Ruby, was making her proteins when she noticed the misplaced DNA heading towards the nucleus. She ran to warn the nucleus and nucleolus.

He doesn't seem friendly...I better tell the nucleus.

During her journey, she found a lysosome cleaning up a worn out cell part.
She asked "Where is the nucleus' office?"
"Just straight ahead and to the left, now if you'll excuse me I have to clean this mess up" Lysosome replied
So she went off.

As Ruby got closer to the office, she noticed the mitochondria was missing. Without the energy from this powerhouse, the people around them would be without power!

Mitochondria

Something is definitely wrong ...who would steal the powerhouse?
Ruby reached the steps of the nucleus' office, she saw a chloroplast making some sugar for lunch
"Is this the nucleus' office?" Ruby asked politely
"Yes" the chloroplast said with a spoon full of sugar "Just go straight in and he'll be there."
Ruby walked in to search for the nucleus
