Nikomi the Ferret was a frisky and playful 

animal.   He loved to play games and 

tricks.   No one really knew why he did 

these things, perhaps just for kicks.

Nikomi saw the Halloween decorations,

which made him very happy.

He knew he was told not to go into

the box for it would make his owner

very crabby.

So many treasures awaited Nikomi in the 

box.

Pumpkins, Mushrooms, Hats, and spooky 

witch's cats!  

The wait was over, Nikomi could not wait 

any longer. If he was going to get into the 

box, he would need to act fast and only 

then could he play and have a blast!

Oh what adventures the box would contain!

His imagination could take him anywhere he 

wanted to go as far his mind could strain, as 

far to the state of Maine!
